Smart-Rig Cranes Adds T1 Electric Floor Crane

The T1 portable mini floor crane from Newport Beach, Calif.-based Smart-Rig Cranes, LLC, features a new mast design that incorporates a manual hand pump jack to raise its boom and electric winch. With a maximum capacity of 1,000 pounds, the T1 is appropriate for HVAC applications and can be used on surfaces such as grass, dirt, gravel, asphalt and concrete. "The T1 model has the same narrow base that fits through a door and inside elevators, the same leg system and water-tank counter weight system our customers love, but we scaled down the crane to help a more budget-conscious buyer and help users with minimal lifting requirements own a portable hoist," said Josh Clark, Smart-Rig Cranes founder and CEO.

Designed to work in tight spaces and rig loads from above, the T1 incorporates a new rear steering design that enables it to swivel, pick and carry, and rotate loads. "An operator can literally grab a load off the back of a truck bed outside, and carry that load inside a building, through doorways and inside elevators, up several stories, through hallways and aisles, and straight to the jobsite where it can be positioned to rig that same load into position for installation," Clark said.
