David Round to Show Stainless Steel Lifting Equipment for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

The David Round Company, Streetsboro, Ohio, will exhibit its range of stainless steel material handling equipment for the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry at the Interphex show, which takes place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, March 29-31, 2011.

David Round designs and manufacturers stainless steel strap hoists, wire rope hoists, chain hoists, tractor drives, trolleys and end trucks for use in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Additionally, the company manufactures portable floor cranes, wall-mounted cranes and freestanding cranes with all-stainless construction.

"Being able to employ paint-free, totally stainless steel material handling products has never been more important to the pharmaceutical industry," said Brad Young, president. "Our customers tell us that all-stainless external construction is mandatory because painted surfaces, even FDA approved epoxies, are no longer tolerated in many clean room environments. Eight out of ten of the largest pharmaceutical firms have David Round stainless hoists in their newest facilities. If you are serious about cleanliness, all-stainless is the only way to go."

David Round’s pharmaceutical grade hoists feature polished 304 stainless steel enclosures, sealed gearing, food grade lubrication, smooth ground wells and plugged fasteners, among other features, to reduce potential contamination.
