AEUP to Show New AWP at The Rental Show

Absolute E-Z Up (AEUP), Charleston, S.C., will be showing its new construction aerial work platform at The Rental Show in Las Vegas. The CAWP-9.6 is self-propelled with an all-steel chassis and is approved for two-person occupancy. It features a maximum working height of 16 feet and offers 397 pounds of unrestricted capacity on its dual extension decks.

“The rugged CAWP-9.6 was designed and built for the harshest sites and most demanding of jobs,” said Mike Buley, managing partner of AEUP. “High productivity, durability, and portability make the CAWP-9.6 the ideal worksite solution, both indoors or outdoors."

The CAWP-9.6 offers 35-percent gradeability, and the unit’s twin 12-volt batteries ensure more than 250 lift cycles or a drive distance of 7 miles. Batteries can easily be recharged in a few hours using the on-board charger. The unit features a zero inside and 39-inch outside turning radius. At 1,212 pounds, it has the lowest rolling tire floor load and unit weight in the industry, according to the company, and can be used on a variety of floor surfaces. Combined with its narrow footprint, the CAWP-9.6 can maneuver within confined locations.

The unit’s compact size, low weight, 3-inch ground clearance and integral forklift pockets make it easy to transport by van or pickup truck. It features an extruded aluminum alloy column that requires no maintenance. There are no chains needing yearly inspection and no need to grease columns, resulting in a significant reduction in equipment maintenance costs and increased uptime, notes AEUP.
