Beyer invests in Ruthmann

As part of its expansion and replacement investment initiative, German rental company, Beyer Mietservice KG has ordered a batch of new truck-mounted aerial work platforms on 3.5t chassis – all of them from Ruthmann. The order includes eight Steiger TB220, eight TB270+, and six additional TBR220 models.

Dieter Beyer company founder and general manager of Beyer Mietservice and his team keep abreast of the latest developments, which he believes is one of the keys to its success. Offering customers state-of-the-art technology and top performance capacity has always been an integral part of the company’s philosophy. Dieter Beyer said, “Ruthmann’s Steiger models, mounted on 3.5t chassis, are simply the best aerial work platforms on the market today.

“Ruthmann equipment is top notch. The price, performance, and handling are unbeatable. Our purchase decision was not made in haste. We took our time and carried out intensive testing and analysis beforehand. Compared to similar models made by other manufacturers, Ruthmann’s TBR 220 and TB 270+ were most convincing.”

Both models feature performance capabilities that had previously only been available in the 7.49t category. With its impressive 16.4m lateral outreach and 22m working height, the TBR 220 is the most capable truck-mounted aerial work platform with jib (Rüssel) on a 3.5t chassis. The Steiger TB 270+ comes with a remarkable 27m working height and 16.4m lateral outreach.

Beyer’s rental locations across Germany include branch offices in the Ruhr area, Cologne-Bonn, the Rhine Main area Koblenz-Neuwied, and Westerwald. Ruthmann’s qualified personnel and spare parts delivery system can be on site in a hurry, should the occasion arise. The quality of Ruthmann’s comprehensive after-sales service was surely also a deciding factor for Beyer.

Ruthmann’s general sales manager, Uwe Strotmann said, “We are very happy about the significant order we have received from Beyer Mietservice KG.  It reaffirms our position as market leader and rewards us for our efforts and investments in highly efficient products and service. The order also underscores our long-standing, successful collaboration. We would like to thank Beyer for the confidence they have placed in us.”

Starting as a one-man, regional equipment rental operation, Beyer Mietservice KG is now a leader in the construction equipment rental industry. Beyer’s extensive rental line-up includes telescopic handlers, mini cranes, forklifts, and work platforms. The first deliveries are scheduled for February 2016.
