Clark Adds Two Purchasing Employees

Clark Material Handling Co., Lexington, Ky., has appointed Susan Harmon as the company’s purchasing manager, and Treva Payne has been named the company’s planner expediter.

Harmon will be responsible to provide leadership and management to the purchasing and materials group for the aftermarket parts business. She returns to Clark with more than 25 years of purchasing and materials management experience. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where she earned a degree in Finance. She holds many certifications including APICS, she is a certified Purchasing Manager, and she is certified in Lean Manufacturing. Her extensive work experience, including her 14 years of prior CLARK experience and knowledge of the forklift industry will be valuable to her success in this position.

Payne will be responsible for  monitoring supplier delivery performance to actual demand, and problem solving to pull in material to meet customer commitments, also reviews past due promise dates and negotiates with suppliers to develop recover plans to clear the past due or backorder condition. Payne comes to CLARK with more than 16 years of planning and materials management experience.
