Clark moves French base for strategic growth

In a strategic move to expand its market position, materials handling vehicles company Clark, has moved its French base to a new company building in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, about 20km southeast of Lyon.

The previous office location of Saint-Laurent-de-Mure saw the administration operation located at a different site than the warehouse and workshop area, which slowed down operations. At the new location, all business areas are now under one roof, with space to build on existing capacity, reflecting the company’s focus on business growth in France.

Olivier Bellissan, branch manager of Clark France says, “Relocating has allowed us to expand our storage capacity and make internal processes much more efficient as we aim to exceed our customers’ expectations in the future.”

The 850sqm of the new building includes a warehouse for new and used equipment and storage for over 100 materials handling vehicles. The building also houses the order management, sales support, technical support, training and final quality control and shipping departments.

Clark France SARL serves nearly 60 Clark distributors in France and the French overseas territories, plus Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Congo, Mauritania and Ivory Coast.

Rolf Eiten, president & CEO of Clark Europe GmbH in Duisburg says, “The relocation of Clark France to Saint-Quentin-Fallavier was an important move, not only to set the course for further growth, but also to be able to respond even better to the requirements of French customers.”
