Combilift Forklift Safety Week 8 – 12 June 2020

9 June may be National Forklift Safety Day in the UK and North America – but Combilift is extending it to a whole week promoting a safer working environment for all those who work with, on or near forklift trucks.

Since Combilift was established, a cornerstone of the company’s design philosophy has been to supply innovative handling solutions that reduce risk and prevent accidents. As well as enabling space saving and productive handling of loads of various sizes and dimensions, more secure and safer handling is cited by many customers as the reason that they opted for a Combilift product over other types of forklifts.

Martin McVicar, Combilift’s managing director, said, “Our commitment to this has also been recognised by industry associations such as the Forklift Truck Association (FLTA) and British Industrial Truck Association (BITA), from whom we have received safety awards for our models or features that we have developed and incorporated into our products.

“To mark the National Forklift Safety Day this year we will be taking a closer look at some of our individual models throughout the week and explaining how they contribute to enhanced safety procedures in the warehouse, production facilities and for loading and offloading materials. And you can also hear from some of our satisfied customers too.”

To hear about how Combilift worked with A-Safe Safety Barriers and Accessories to install physical barriers, which are one of the safest forms of segregation in the workplace see the video issued by British Industrial Truck Association (BITA) – (below).
