CTE products on tour in Germany – Industry News

From 9 May Hematec Arbeitsbuehnen GmbH, the German dealer of Italian access platform manufacturer CTE has been touring its customers to show the truck-mounted platform CTE B-Lift 390 High Range, followed by the track mounted CTE Traccess 230 (towed by a car). The aim is to test both products with customers, with a demonstration and technical training.

The truck-mounted platform CTE B-Lift 390 High Range on tour was purchased by Hematec in October 2015. It offers 600kg of capacity at a 39m working height. Mounted on a Mercedes Antos, 2-axle 18t gross vehicle weight (GVW) truck, it reaches a 26.3m outreach.

It has a main telescopic boom with three elements (main boom and two extensions), extra long jib with double extension and 180deg swivelling angle, secondary jib with 180deg swivelling angle. Regarding the capacity on the platform, it has an automatic limiting device controlling outreach according to the platform weight and stabiliser variable configuration.

Controls are proportional electro hydraulic with simultaneous manoeuvre (ergonomic joysticks). There are a vehicle cab anti-collision device and an intercom communication device integrated on the control station. There is an engine start/stop control from the basket and the ground and a lock system for the basket during transport.

The self-propelled track mounted aerial platform CTE Traccess 230 offers the highest working height of the CTE track mounted range. It has a 23m working height, a 12m outreach and a 200kg capacity. Recently an electric version was added to the range – Traccess 230E. Traccess 230 has automatic stabilisation with four stabilisation configurations with hydraulic placement, a basket load-sensing device, a 230V AC electric socket in the basket, maximum gradeability of  31%, a 2.1m jib with +10deg working angle and compact dimensions that allow it to pass through standard doors.

The very small size – 2.1m in height when closed and 5.3m long – makes Traccess 230 very compact. The new model has the classic "Z" shape, typical of the Traccess range and is able to complete perfect verticality along the wall during the working phases. With one command the operator can go up or down along the wall, without the need for other changes.
