Forklift Safety Awards Shortlisted For Own Award.

The FLTA’s Awards for Excellence has been shortlisted for Best Event at the Trade Association Forum’s Best Practice Awards.

It’s the second time the FLTA has been nominated for the award in four years, having previously won a Best Practice Award for the FLTA Safety Conference in 2015.

The FLTA’s Awards for Excellence brings together more than 400 of the forklift industry’s leading figures to celebrate materials handling’s best products, services, people and teams.

This year’s event was sponsored by companies including Yale Europe Materials Handling and Toyota Materials Handling. Award winners included first-time entrant Elokon for Safety, and Philadelphia Scientific for Innovation.

Peter Harvey, FTLA’s CEO said, “We’re delighted to be nominated for another TAF Best Practice Award, but in truth the event’s huge success – and the real changes our industry’s making in workplaces around the UK – is all the recognition we need.

“It’s so important for industry-leaders to be recognised for their ground-breaking work, and to have the opportunity to come together and hear what great things are happening in the industry today. We’re glad the TAF thinks so too.”

Winners will be announced at the Trade Association Forum Best Practice Awards 2018, which will be held at London’s Draper’s Hall on 10th July. The next FLTA’s Awards for Excellence will take place on Saturday 30th March 2019 at the International Centre, Telford.
