HBC-radiomatic expands into Vietnam; trains sales network

Wireless crane and machine control manufacturer HBC-radiomatic has expanded its international service and sales network with a new partner in Vietnam.

With users increasingly keen to avoid costly downtime, the quality and availability of local after sales service is key to many purchasing decisions. Operating without a nearby service technician or enduring a wait for parts is not an option for many.

“We offer our customers a comprehensive and powerful network that has multiple benefits,” said Karl-Heinz Günter, key account manager at the Crailsheim, Germany-based firm. “For example, our service and sales partners provide assistance for all questions and problems in the local language. With the technical customer support in the area and the permanent availability of spare parts, downtime can be kept to a minimum. The customer directly saves money. Additionally, many standard radio systems are in stock at our partners and are ready for shipment within a few days.”

HBC-radiomatic customers in Vietnam can now benefit from these advantages. Since August 2012, Saigon Engineering Control, located in Ho Chi Minh City, is the authorised sales and service partner in the southeast asian country. Manager Kent Nguyen and his team offer offer the emerging market a complete HBC infrastructure, from quotations to sales and customer service.

“The cooperation with Saigon Engineering Control is an ideal addition to our already successful representations in Asia,” said Günther. “We are already active in Asia with representation in China, India, Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore, and Thailand. Together with our subsidiary in Osaka, Japan which was founded in 2009, we cover almost the entire Asian market.”

The same is true for Europe. With new service and sales partnerships in Russia and Turkey, the radio specialists from Crailsheim have made a successful step into further emerging markets.

HBC-radiomatic, besides the head office and subsidiaries in Dortmund and Berlin, is represented around the globe with six subsidiaries and 35 official service and sales partners.

To keep such a network up to speed with HBC technologies, it hosts an annual service and sales conference. At the Bayerische Bauakademie in Feuchtwangen, Germany, all HBC-radiomatic subsidiaries and partners come together to engage in workshops and presentations about product innovations as well as service, marketing, and sales tools, where over 40 nations are represented.
