HBC’s production expansion nears completion.

The largest construction project in HBC’s history is close to a successful completion. In the last few months, a new building with a total area of around 5500sqm, spread over three floors plus basement, was built at the HBC production site in Crailsheim, Germany. The new building enables the company to significantly expand its production capacities.

Mechanical production is now already working on two levels of the new building. Here, experienced teams take care of the production of high-quality operating elements, batteries and all other mechanical components from HBC’s own production in a spacious, modern environment. The upper floor will house offices and meeting rooms.

As part of the project, HBC’s entire logistics area, including the main warehouse at the production site, will also be restructured. For this purpose, an additional small logistics building was built. In the newly created areas, the teams now use the latest logistics technology to ensure the quick and efficient supply of materials to the production areas as well as smooth incoming and outgoing goods. In addition, the new, optimised logistics area is well-prepared to support growth at other HBC locations in Germany and abroad.

For example, a new production and office building is currently being built at our location in Stollberg, Ore Mountains (Germany). Instead of the previous facilities in the nearby Zwoenitz commercial centre, it will house all functions of HBC-radiomatic GmbH in the Ore Mountains area – including customer service, production, and even software development.

HBC says that the expansion projects are crucial investments in its future and important steps towards being able to continue to offer customers first-class products at attractive delivery times in the future.
