Hird to Take Valla Cranes, 3B6 Controls and Vacuum Robots to Vertikal Days

Peter Hird and Sons Ltd will show a range of pick and carry industrial mobile cranes, vacuums and control equipment at this year’s Vertikal Days show, 26-27 June, 2013 at Haydock Park, Merseyside, UK.

The event caters for rental companies, fleet owners, users and lifting professionals, providing an unobstructed view of the lifting industry’s latest products.

Hird, the sole UK distributor for Valla Cranes and UK distributor for 3B6 control systems, has taken increased exhibition space to raise its profile at the show.

Hird provides complete sales and after sales support for the full range of available Valla Cranes. This year, Hird will exhibit the new Valla 120EVO crane, seen for the first time in the UK.

The 120EVO has a new longer boom reaching 13m with a capacity of 1,800kg at full height. The crane can offer a maximum lifting capacity of 12,000kg at 1.8mt radius with full pick and carry application. The unit weighs 14,400kg and includes a full 12,000kg winch.

3B6 designs and produces electronic systems for mobile machines, focusing mainly on cranes and lifting equipment. Hird offers full 3B6 solutions, providing hardware and software, parts and full systems, calibration, fault finding, fitting and installation services, repairs and breakdown cover.

The Hird exhibit will also feature the Winlet Vacuum Robot range of lifting equipment. Winlet vacuum robots are specifically designed for eliminating manual handling onsite for applications such as glazing. The robots use vacuum technology for lifting units up to 575kg.

Hird operates from three locations in the UK, with each depot having access to a network of nationwide, factory-trained mobile service engineers. It has over 30 years of experience in the rent and sale of lifting and access equipment.

Last year’s Vertikal Days event attracted another record turnout, with visitor numbers up at least 11 percent and in the region of 1,700. Vertikal Days is now in its seventh year.
