Interroll Debuts Zero Pressure Accumulation Belt

Interroll Automation, Jeffersonville, Ind., released the 24VDC Intelliveyor Belt at Modex in Atlanta, Ga., this week. Based on Interroll’s Intelliveyor Zero Pressure Accumulation Roller Conveyor, the Intelliveyor Belt enables soft goods to be conveyed in a low energy consumption, zero pressure accumulation system.

Adding a belt to the Intelliveyor enables users to convey items that have traditionally not been suited for conveying in zero-pressure accumulation roller systems, including items with soft or uneven bases, smaller items, and pharmaceuticals. Interroll offers the Intelliveyor Belt as a straight belt accumulation module as well as a Belt Curve model.

The Intelliveyor Belt designed to convey lighter goods up to 45 pounds per zone, while saving electricity and installation costs. Testing has shown that the Intelliveyor Belt consumes 37 percent less electricity when compared with similar, traditional conveying systems due to Interroll’s energy saving 24VDC 1.9” RollerDrive.
