Lift Turn Move enjoys successful PLASA outing

Lift Turn Move Ltd (LTM) invested in a high profile exhibition stand at the entertainment show PLASA, which took place at London’s Earls Court, 9-12 September.

In a multifaceted exhibit, matching the diverse range of LTM products and services, the Wirral, UK-based firm showcased four major offerings.

Its range of LoadGuard chain hoists from 0.25 to 5.0t, including hoists to BGV D8 and BGV D8 Plus, are used in many touring and fixed installation applications within the entertainment market.

The ELG (entertainment lifting gear) range, meanwhile, is a new set of manual lifting gear and rigging products under one brand, especially for the entertainment market. All of the equipment is black in colour and encompasses a range of chain blocks, beam clamps, soft steels, roundslings and shackles.

The centrepiece of the PLASA stand was the pioneering fall prevention system from Limpet Technology, which LTM now distributes to the entertainment sector. The product’s background is in rock climbing but found a market in the energy industry, in wind turbine operations and maintenance. Its potential in other areas has already been recognised.

PLASA visitors also saw LTM’s new product brochure for the entertainment industry. Covering chain hoists, motion control, track, truss and winches, it presents the company’s portfolio in one place.

A roundup of PLASA 2012 will appear in the Lift & Hoist International (LHI) magazine September/October edition. Also see both LHI and LTM at November’s LiftEx show where the former is official publication at the more industrial-focused trade event.
