NACCO Materials Handling Group Donates $32,000 to United Way

NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc. (NMHG), Cleveland, Ohio, presented United Way of Pitt County, Greenville, N.C., with a $32,000 check during East Carolina University’s (ECU) final regular-season home football game.

As a sponsor of ECU athletics, NMHG’s check was allocated to United Way of Pitt County based on this season’s total number of ECU touchdowns.

United Way of Pitt County Resource Development Director Renee Blount was on the field to receive the check, along with NMHG Americas Division Controller Tommy Baker, Hyster Distribution President Jonathan Dawley, and United Way of Pitt County Executive Director Jim Cieslar.

To date, NMHG has donated nearly $256,000 to United Way of Pitt County based on total ECU touchdowns, three-pointers and homeruns for its football, basketball and baseball programs respectively for the 2011-12 academic year.
