Niftylift Opens U.S. Product Support Center

Niftylift Ltd., Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, manufacturer of trailer-mounted, self-propelled, track-mounted, and vehicle-mounted aerial lifts, has opened a new 10,000-square-foot product support center in Greer, S.C. The operation is run by Ken Trivett, general manager, with support services provided by Bob McKnight, product support manager.

In order to increase support, after-sales service, and market share in North America, services offered by Niftylift include operating and service advice, trouble-shooting and diagnostic assistance, and spare parts. Trivett said customers have been extremely pleased with Niftylift's service presence in North America. He added that the South Carolina site was chosen because of its centralized location, as well as its close proximity to the Port of Charleston, the airport, and highway system.

At this time, Trivett said there are no plans for additional facilities to open in North America. He added that in future, Niftylift's goals include assembling machines in South Carolina, as well as manufacturing equipment in the United States in the long term.
