Scaligera Service Buys a CTE ZED 21.2 JHV to Meet Customers’ Requirements

Scaligera Service, a rental company based in Verona (with four large rental depots in the North-East of Italy) has invested in a new CTE ZED 21.2 JHV platform with S3 variable stabilisation (Smart Stability System), which was launched at Bauma 2016. It joins the nine ZED 21.2 JH 21m articulated truck-mounted platforms with H stabilisation and jib already in the company’s fleet.

CTE’s ZED 21.2 JHV has a 20.6m working height, 9.9m outreach and a maximum capacity of 300kg. Stabilisation is H-shaped with variable S3, which adapts in real time to the conditions of use, basket load and geometry, automatically. It allows the user to take advantage of the full potential of each type of platform, irrespective of the vehicle characteristics on which it is mounted or the geometry of its superstructure.

Because of the S3, the operator can easily set the machine in various stabiliser configurations: fixed narrow jacking rear outriggers and variable jacking front outriggers (extended, in shape, or extended to left/right) to suit the job being undertaken.

Mauro Brunelli, owner of Scaligera Service and newly appointed president of Assodimi/Assonolo, says that the S3 system persuaded the company to order a new unit. The company associate and cousin Fabio Brunelli agrees saying, “This is an important feature that allows greater flexibility in the placement of stabilisers. It will be much appreciated by those who will work on the walls, and certainly also for the green maintenance. Furthermore, more and more customers require an increased capacity in the basket able to support two operators and working equipment, so these 300kg are really a valuable feature”.

The machines backs the company’s philosophy to offer high performance aerial platforms “and also reliable and easy to use” says Mauro Brunelli. “We want to ensure a complete service to our customer, to better follow the market. Every day we receive several demands that bring new challenges, so we want to equip ourselves to indulge them, respecting all safety standards, ensuring a great rental service, and then relying on a manufacturer like CTE”.

Visitors to the Samoter Exibition in Verona, 22 – 25 February can see Scaligera Service and CTE exhibiting the CTE ZED 21.2 JHV together at the IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) booth.
