Snorkel grows in US and UK

To meet growing demand Snorkel and Xtreme Manufacturing are excited to announce that they are creating new sales positions: it is tripling their North American sales team and expanding its team in the UK and Ireland.

The new roles in the US are for regional sales managers, who will work across the United States and Canada visiting customer locations and developing new business opportunities.  These roles will be supported by additional inside sales representatives based in Las Vegas, who will complement the existing inside sales team based in Elwood, Kansas.  Snorkel & Xtreme have already begun the recruitment process and expect to have the expanded team in full operation by Q3 2015. 

This recruitment initiative follows the latest expansion of Snorkel’s global engineering team, as well as the growth of regional divisions such as Snorkel UK, which recently doubled its direct sales and service team.

Launched in 2012, Snorkel UK is responsible for all Snorkel lift sales in the region, and also provides a comprehensive after-sales and spare parts service, supported by the UK-based Snorkel manufacturing facility in Washington, Tyne & Wear.

As demand for new equipment increases, Snorkel UK is recruiting for 9 new roles which will boost its nationwide sales and service capacity.  The roles include four regional sales managers, four regional after-sales support engineers, and a sales coordinator based at the UK factory.
