SWF unveils Hannover Messe showcase

SWF Krantechnik will show its new CHAINsterGT electric chain hoist with integrated hoist inverter for the first time at the Hannover Trade Fair (stand D56 in hall 17), which takes place 8-12 April, 2013 at the Hannover Messe, Germany.

The pre-programmed frequency inverter stored in the robust aluminium hoist casing offers a range of functions and ensures greater operating safety. A wide range of speeds offers effective and quick operation. With partial loads of less than 30 percent, the load can be processed at double the hoist speed. By contrast, the operator can use lower hoist speeds for precise positioning of loads.

The CHAINsterGT comes with intelligent hoist monitoring. The slipping clutch is monitored electronically. Using a load summation, the remaining safe working period is permanently calculated. Overload protection is guaranteed mechanically as well as electronically and shock loads are prevented, reducing the impact of sudden shocks.

The unit is offered with an upper hook for loads of up to 2,500kg as standard. Push trolleys and motor travel trolleys controlled by a frequency inverter are also available as an option.

SWF‘s CraneKit will also be on show, containing all of the components necessary for efficiently constructing cranes such as the hoist, control and power supply, end carriages and other accessories. CraneKits are offered for loads of up to 80t.
