UK Genie Distributor, Workplatform relocates – Industry News

Workplatform – the official distributor for Genie has relocated to Willow Farm Business Park, Castle Donnington from its former location further east on the Derby Southern Bypass, along the M1 corridor. The move to a bigger more modern premises of nearly 3000sqm has been designed to best meet with customer requirements.

Jonathan Hull, of Workplatform Ltd said, “It’s an exciting time for Workplatform, with a dynamic portfolio of customers, supplying them the best access equipment on the market with Genie products. It’s a pleasure to show them the new facilities, our customers are welcome anytime, our door is always open and the coffee pot is always on.”

At the new location, Workplatform can stock more products, offer a wider selection of both new and used Genie models and have increased capacity in its  aftersales departments. The new premises represent an investment of some £3 million, which includes a development in training services, evolving the company into a certified IPAF Training Centre.

John Chandler, UK sales manager for Genie said, “Jonathan’s business has been growing consistently over the eight years of trading. This new site demonstrates how the business has evolved in to one of the UK’s leading access platform suppliers.”
