LiftWise Introduces Single Man Folding Baskets for Service Cranes

The Diversified Products brand LiftWise has introduced its Single Man Folding Basket for service cranes. The basket is attached to the crane head using an adaptor that is specifically built for each customer’s make and model of crane. It provides fall arrest and fall protection, while helping to eliminate the need for ladders or climbing on equipment.

Featuring a large open area for increased productivity, the Single Man Folding Basket has a full-sized floor to accommodate workers and materials. The slotted floor allows water to drain, while the upset holes offer skid resistance. An inward-opening gate provides easy entry into the basket, while minimising space needed. When not in use, the basket’s space-saving design can be folded for easier transport and storage in less than a minute.  It folds from the working dimensions of 30 x 30 x 42 inches down to 40 x 19 x 45 inches in storage mode.

The Single Man Folding Basket weighs 230 pounds and has a 350-pound capacity. The steel construction of the basket is designed to meet the rigours of contractors and heavy-duty work environments, including utilities, mining and more. It meets or exceeds industry standards ASME B30.5, ASME B30.22, ASME B30.23 and CSA Z150.

Following many years of input from operators and field crews, this next-generation basket was designed by the engineers at Diversified Products at its Waco base in Texas.  In addition to developing its own LiftWise line of products, the experienced technical staff at Diversified also offers engineering design services to help provide clients with innovative engineered solutions to solve unique job site problems.

The Single Man Folding Basket will be on display in booth F100022 at CONEXPO in Las Vegas, March 10-14, 2020.
