New AHK 30KS rental crane for Stirob

Bavarian rental company, Stirob Baustelleneinrichtung has added a Böcker trailer crane AHK 30KS to its fleet of machines and equipment. The new addition offers technical features that make working on site faster, more effective and safer.

The trailer crane includes a powerful manoeuvring drive and a state-of-the-art crane control system for a maximum of operational safety.  The control automatically releases the working range, depending on the position of the outriggers and the attached load. When using near power lines the turn and lift angle restriction helps users remain within the available  working space. The fully variable extension of each individual outrigger and the auto-levelling enable the trailer crane to be set up quickly and guarantee optimum stability.

With an extension length of up to 30m and payloads of up to 1500kg, the AHK 30KS still lifts a weight of 250kg, even when fully extended. The crane is intuitively operated via radio remote control always allowing the crane operator a clear view on its colour display.

The AHK 30KS is equipped with a swivel drawbar as standard, which significantly reduces the overall length of the crane when swivelled in. The fully variable outrigger control, allows the four foldable swivelling outriggers to be set up independently of each other at various angles and enable a ground clearance of up to 50cm. This means that the trailer crane can also be used on confined sites. The chassis with tandem axle ensures perfect floor-load distribution.

The crane offers a remote maintenance module that reduces downtime to a minimum. Error messages can be viewed and eliminated by Böcker Service, regardless of the crane’s location.

Oliver Hofschild, sales representative at the Böcker branch, Alling, said, “Our crane solutions are all optimised for highest safety. The electronics in combination with numerous sensors ensure that the crane stops immediately when an important limit is reached. This means there is always a feeling of safety when travelling to the construction site.”

Robert Stic, Stirob owner and managing director said, “We equip our customers’ sites exclusively with the best machines available on the market. Due to many years experience we know how powerful Böcker products are. Delivery of the new Böcker AHK 30KS is particularly timely due to the growing demand of such equipment.”
