Three Unic mini spider cranes for Czech Republic

KMB Stavebni Servis, the official distributor of Unic Cranes in Czech Republic, has taken delivery of three Unic mini spider cranes to meet growing demand for the machines post-pandemic.

The three-crane deal included the Unic URW-095 and Unic URW-295-3 pedestrian operated units, and the Unic URW-376, a ride-on model.

The 2.9t capacity Unic URW-295-3 is the newest model to be added to the company’s fleet. The Unic URW-295-3 retains all the benefits of the standard URW-295 model, but sees the addition of variable, adjustable outriggers, enabling this mini crane to operate around fixed obstacles on site to suit the lifting requirements of each project.

The addition of variable outriggers means this mini crane can operate in spaces where other mini cranes cannot. The adjustable outriggers reduce the working footprint of this already compact mini machine, making it ideal for working in extremely tight and small spaces.

Jaroslav Voneš, head of KMB Vsechromy depot commented “We are happy with the new delivery. As a long standing Unic dealer in the Czech Republic, we know that Unic Cranes are reliable and high-quality machines. We ourselves rent more than 35 of them and we are very satisfied with their performance.

“There is no doubt that the Unic-095 is one of the most popular minicranes in our fleet, therefore we welcome another in a row.  We are excited about Unic-295-3 with variable, adjustable outriggers and are also looking forward to using the new and modernised RaycoWylie i4500 system, the new type we didn´t have before”.

Graeme Riley, CEO of Unic  Cranes Europe said, “The team from KMB were one of the first of our dealers to visit our European headquarters in Haddenham since lockdown. After building their business around the Unic product, it’s great to be able to support KMB Stavebni Servis growth plans and service the demand from the Czech market with the delivery of these units”.
